The EDGE Overview
There are four parts to The EDGE:
A. The Sunday night youth liturgy is a powerful
mass that is geared to our youth. Contemporary liturgical music, homilies
geared toward young people, videos, drama and skits that bring the gospel
message of Jesus home to middle school youth, high school teens and young
adults are a part of the Sunday night youth liturgy.
B.EDGE night occurs every Monday evening during the school year
except when school is not in session on a particular Monday.
The EDGE also has social and recreational activities designed to create
a greater sense of community among our middle school youth and for the kids
to have fun and enjoy themselves in a church setting.
The EDGE sponsors a three day retreat and periodically meets during the
summer.
C. The EDGE offers middle school youth different occasions to
put their faith into action through a variety of service projects.
D. The parent's component is designed to assist parents in raising
their middle school youngster. Educational classes and sessions on middle
school spirituality, psychology, personality development, and physical development
are offered.
