The Home Depot Foundation donating $25,000 to 1 of 4 Habitat for Humanity regions

If you are on Facebook, there is a wonderful opportunity for you to help Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona or Tucson region win a $25,000 donation from The Home Depot Foundation’s Aprons in Action Program.
Aprons in Action is a grant program sponsored by The Home Depot Foundation. The AIA Program is intended to further the missions of 501©(3) nonprofit organizations that have previously collaborated with Team Depot on community improvement projects.
Each month since April 2011 through February 2012, The Home Depot Foundation’s Aprons in Action Program selects four finalists. The criteria for choosing finalists is based on the impact to the community of each eligible organization’s prior Team Depot project.
During the month of July, two of the four Habitat for Humanity regions reside in Arizona: Central AZ and Tucson. The other two July finalists are New Orleans and San Diego. Visitors to The Home Depot Foundation’s Facebook page will have an opportunity to vote for the first prize winner who will receive a $25,000 gift card.
In addition, an AIA Program grand prize winner will be selected from among each of the eleven first prize winners. The AIA Program grand prize winner will receive an additional two hundred fifty thousand dollar ($250,000) gift card to further its mission.

You can vote once every 24 hours adding up to 25 votes if you begin today and vote daily through the end of July. As you can see votes can add up quickly so imagine how much you can help by not only voting but by asking your friends to vote as well.
