The Great Pretenders Christmas Season

The Great Pretenders Ministry “kicked off” its Christmas Season by entertaining over 60 residents at Desert Flower Nursing Home on December 3rd. The group performed at eleven Retirement/Nursing facilities during the month December 2011.

The Great Pretenders is a group of adults who lip-synch to the oldies. They perform at nursing homes and other similar type organizations.

Ministry Information – Time commitment: First Sunday of the month October through May – Meets after 10:30 a.m. Mass – Membership open to all “young-at-hearts”, 50 or older – Looking for new ideas for events and activities – Time commitment is a half hour before and one hour after each mass – Rotation is about once per month
