Sacrament Preparation 2010 - 2011

As a child approaches readiness to celebrate receiving a sacrament, parents must take the initiative to respond to the parish’s invitation to participate in the preparation.

The ongoing support and example of parents, supported by the parish programs along with the witness, support and prayers of the parish community are all needed to best prepare children for a life as members of the Church.

Preparing for a sacrament must be a faith journey that begins a considerable time before the celebration of the sacrament and continues well beyond the day of the event.

Orientation Meetings are scheduled for parents of 2nd and 3rd graders wishing to prepare for First Confession or Confirmation ~ First Eucharist in 2011.

Please plan on attending one of the following orientation sessions in Fenlon Center:

Thursday, September 9th at 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Thursday, September 23rd at 9:30 – 11:00 am
Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00 – 10:30 am
