Life Teen had one of the most amazing retreats EVER!

Life Teen is back from an incredible retreat that took place this last weekend. A special thank you to all the Core and cooks who made this weekend possible.
No words can describe when the Holy Spirit moves the way it did on this retreat. The teens let down their guard and were open in HUGE ways for the Spirit to work in their lives. As one teen told me, “God showed up! I have never experienced Him like that before.”
We as a youth ministry staff can agree that we have never experi -enced more trials leading up to a retreat more than this one. Two of us had deaths in the family, four of us were very ill, Core members were ill and others couldn’t attend, and the list goes on and on. The reason I share this is that this retreat was more Spirit driven than any I have ever witnessed. Through the trials in our lives let us continue to trust in HIM and know that Our Creator is in charge, not us. If we believe and live with this in mind, God will show up! Just ask our teens.
