Life Teen goes to Andre House

Mother Teresa once said,
“It is not how much we do,
but how much love we put in the doing.
It is not how much we give,
but how much love we put in the giving.”

Our teens put a lot of love into serving the homeless of downtown Phoenix. We chopped melons and bananas, sliced and buttered bread, and helped make a fantastic spaghetti dinner for over 600 people. During dinner some of us served the food, some took food orders for those with children and disabled people, some refilled drinks, and some did the dishes. However, all of us served with great love and got to interact with some amazing people. There were many heartfelt “thank yous” from those we served, but truly, we should be thanking them.
