A Thank You Letter

Dear Fr. Eric and Members of the St. Patrick Catholic Community,

In the name of our Pastor, Fr. Ray Ritari, as well as in my own, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for once again including St. Matthew Catholic School in your Christmas Tree Ornament drive.

The teachers were overwhelmed with the generosity of your parishioners. Our classrooms and sports program have once again been enriched, thanks to all of you.

The computer teacher wanted me to say a special ‘thank you’ for all the gift cards to Best Buy. They will be used to purchase replacement parts for our computers (mice, cables, etc.). In his words, “we are completely out.” I realize that this has been a tough year for many people in our community and once again I thank you and your parishioners for your support of our school whose primary purpose is to give the children of the poor a chance at a Catholic education, which after all, was the original purpose of the parochial school system in our country.

May God continue to shower you and your faith community with His blessings.
