Preparation for First Reconciliation
Children in grade 2 who are registered in Christian Formation may sign up to begin preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession, Penance).

Preparation begins with parent orientation. The adults share time reviewing their experience of forgiveness and what this sacrament means to the spiritual development of their children.

Parents can prepare their children at home or in small family clusters. Including grandparents or godparents in preparation is a great idea. Two opportunities are planned for families to gather with their children at church for prayer and activities.
